Baked Popovers

Looking for a very easy party snack that is sure to impress all your guests, this Popovers is what you need to try! Very easy and just about 20 min of baking time away, this Popovers is definitely a great way to liven up the tea-time parties! Give it a try!
  Flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Eggs 2 , beaten
  Milk 1 Cup (16 tbs) (Scant Measure)
  Shortening 1 Tablespoon, melted

Preheat oven to 450°F.
Sift flour and salt together.
Mix eggs, milk, and shortening; add gradually to flour.
Beat until smooth, with egg whisk or electric mixer.
Should take about 1 minute.
Pour into greased popover tins, Pyrex cups, or muffin pans to 1/3 full.
Bake 20 minutes at temperature given.
Reduce heat to 350°F; bake 15 minutes, until popovers are firm.
