Ingredients
  Flour 1 Cup (16 tbs), sifted
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Eggs 2 Small
  Milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Shortening 1 Tablespoon, melted
Directions

GETTING READY
1.Start by preheating the oven to 450F degrees

MAKING
2.In a bowl, sift flour and salt together
3.In another bowl, beat eggs and add milk, shortening and sifted dry ingredients
4.Using a rotary beater beat the mixture until smooth
5.On greased muffin pans, fill the mixture 1/2 full
6.Finally bake in the oven for 20 minutes
7.Now reduce the temperature to 350F and bake for 15 minutes more

SERVING
8.Serve with hot butter, jam, or syrup
