This waldorf salad recipe is a simple and easy one. Simply made with apples and celery along with walnut meats, the Waldorf salad is dressed with french dressing and mayonnaise. Served fresh, it is delightful as a side in a meal.
|Apple||1 Cup (16 tbs), diced|
|Celery||1 Cup (16 tbs), diced|
|Walnut meats||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), broken|
|French dressing||1 Cup (16 tbs) (As Required)|
|Lettuce leaves||1 (As Required)|
|Mayonnaise||1 Tablespoon (As Required)|
1.Fold together the apple, celery, and nuts with French dressing
2.Serve on lettuce leaves with mayonnaise.
Do not allow this to stand long before serving, as the nuts will discolor the fruit.
