Beaten Biscuits

Ingredients
  Sifted flour 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Cold shortening 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Cold milk 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

GETTING READY
1.Start by preheating the oven to 400F degrees

MAKING
2.In a bowl, sift the flour along with the salt, and cut in the shortening
3.Now add milk to the bowl, and keep mixing till it becomes a stiff dough
4.On a floured board, place the dough, and using a rolling pin beat it for 30 minutes, keep folding the edges after each stroke
5.Place the dough and roll 1/3 inch thick and cut with a biscuit cutter
6.On a greased baking sheet, place the dough and prick it using a fork
7.Finally bake in the oven for 20 minutes
8.Once baked completely, transfer on a wire rack to cool it.

SERVING
9.Serve with tea or coffee
