Banana Foster With Vanilla Ice Cream

The bananas foster is a banana dessert prepared with bananas and ice cream and flavored with cinnamon. Cooked with sugar and butter, the banana is drizzled with liquer, ignited rum and a dash of cinnamon and served over ice cream.
  Ripe bananas 4 Small
  Lemon juice 1 Tablespoon (Adjust Quantity As Needed)
  Packed brown sugar 2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Ground cinnamon 1 Dash
  Banana liqueur 2 Tablespoon
  Rum 3 Tablespoon
  Vanilla ice cream 2 Cup (32 tbs) (Adjust Quantity As Needed)

Peel bananas and cut in half lengthwise, then crosswise.
Brush bananas with some lemon juice to prevent darkening.
In a skillet or blazer pan of a chafing dish, heat brown sugar and butter or margarine over medium heat till mixture melts, stirring occasionally.
Add bananas to the sugar mixture and cook, uncovered, for 3 to 4 minutes, turning once.
Sprinkle with cinnamon.
Drizzle banana liqueur atop.
In a small saucepan heat the rum just till warm.
Ignite and pour the rum over the banana mixture.
Serve over vanilla ice cream.
