Herbed Beef Stew
|Lean beef stew meat||2 Pound, cubed|
|Canned condensed tomato soup||10 3⁄4 Ounce (One Can)|
|Water||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Worcestershire sauce||2 Tablespoon|
|Onion powder||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Crushed bay leaves||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Basil leaf||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Celery salt||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Garlic salt||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Black pepper||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Carrots||4 , sliced|
|Potatoes||4 Medium, cubed|
|Onions||4 , quartered|
|Tomato juice||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|All purpose flour||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Place meat in a 4 qt.glass casserole dish.
Cover and Microwave 8 to 10 minutes.
Stir in remaining ingredients except tomato juice and flour.
Microwave on DEFROST for 2 hours to 2 hours 30 minutes [SIMMER-4, 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours] Stir twice during cooking.
Mix together tomato juice and flour until smooth.
Gradually stir into hot liquid.
Microwave 5 to 7 minutes or until thickened.
Stir three times during cooking.
