Hawaiian Spareribs

Ingredients
  Canned crushed pineapple 8 Ounce (1 Can Of 8 Ounce)
  Fresh gingerroot 2 Inch, grated
  Soy sauce 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Garlic 2 Clove (10 gm), crushed
  Packed brown sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Beef spare ribs/Pork spare ribs 3 Pound
Directions

Combine the undrained pineapple, gingerroot, soy sauce, garlic, brown sugar and salt in a 5 to 6 quart kettle.
Cut the ribs into 2 or 3 rib pieces and stir into the pineapple mixture.
Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 2 to 2 1/2 hours.
