Quick Salisbury Steak
|Soft bread crumbs||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chopped onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Garlic powder||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Ground beef||1 Pound|
|Canned beef broth||15 Ounce|
|Ketchup||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Worcestershire sauce||1 Tablespoon|
|Canned sliced mushrooms||4 Ounce (Drained)|
Combine the bread crumbs, onion, worcestershire sauce, garlic powder and egg in a large bowl and mix well.
Add the ground beef; mix well.
Shape into 4 patties and place them in a shallow 2 quart microwave safe dish.
Microwave, covered, on medium High for 6 minutes, turning once; drain.
Combine the flour and broth in a small bowl and whisk until smooth.
Stir in the ketchup, worcestershire sauce, basil and mushrooms.
Pour the broth mixture evenly over the patties.
Microwave, covered, on medium high for 6 to 8 minutes.
Stir the liquid gently.
Let stand, covered, for 5 minutes.
