Slim Jim Hawaiian Chicken
|Broiler fryer chicken||3 Small|
|Onion||1 Small, chopped|
|Soy sauce||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Water||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Pineapple slice||6 (Diet Pack)|
|Chopped parsley||2 Tablespoon|
Arrange split chickens, skin side down, in a large shallow baking pan.
Mix onion, soy sauce and water in a small bowl; pour over chicken.
Bake in moderate oven (350Â°) 45 minutes; turn chicken; bake, basting several times with soy mixture in pan, 45 minutes longer, or until brown and tender.
Drain pineapple slices well on paper toweling; roll edge of each in chopped parsley.
Serve with chicken.
