Ingredients
  Ground beef 1 1⁄2 Pound
  Bacon 1⁄4 Pound, crisp cooked
  Spanish onions 2 Large, chopped
  Green bell peppers 2 Large, chopped
  Canned sliced mushrooms 4 Ounce, drained (1 Can)
  Canned kidney beans 16 Ounce, drained (1 Can)
  Cooked egg noodles/Cooked rice / spaghetti 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Tomatoes 3 Large, thinly sliced
Directions

Brown the ground beef in a skillet, stirring until crumbly; drain.
Add the bacon, onions and green peppers; cook over medium-low heat for 10 minutes, stirring frequently.
Add the mushrooms, kidney beans, noodles and tomatoes and mix well.
Season and simmer, covered, for 20 minutes, adding water if necessary.
Note: If desired, the cooked ingredients may be placed in a casserole, topped with shredded cheese, bread crumbs and bacon slices, and browned in the oven.
