Southern Steak Bar-B-Q
|Soft butter/Margarine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Dry mustard||2 Tablespoon|
|Sirloin steak||2 Pound (1 Inch)|
|Olive oil||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Worcestershire sauce||2 Tablespoon|
For seasoned butter, mix first 6 ingredients; spread half on one side of steak.
In large skillet, brown meat buttered side down.
As this browns, spread remaining butter over top; turn and brown.
Remove to broiler.
For sauce, mix remaining ingredients; add skillet drippings; brush on steak.
Broil 5 inches from heat 5 to 7 minutes on each side, brushing frequently with sauce.
