Wilted Cabbage Slaw
|Shredded cabbage||4 Cup (64 tbs) (0.5 Small Head)|
|Shredded carrot||1 Cup (16 tbs) (1 Large Carrot)|
|Sliced celery||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Onion||1 Small, sliced|
|Italian salad dressing mix||2 Tablespoon|
|Water||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Vegetable oil||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Combine cabbage, carrot, celery and sliced onion in a medium size bowl.
Prepare salad dressing mix with vinegar, water and oil, following label directions.
Heat 1/2 cup of the prepared dressing just to boiling; pour over vegetables; toss lightly.
Refrigerate remaining dressing to use for salads at other meals
