Vermont Maple Syrup Muffins

Ingredients
  All purpose flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Baking powder 4 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Egg 1 Large (Room Temperature)
  Milk 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Maple syrup 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Melted butter 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

Sift flour, baking powder and salt together.
In a separate bowl, whisk egg, milk, syrup and butter.
Gradually pour this egg mixture into a well in the bowl with the dry ingredients.
Stir quickly.
Batter will be lumpy.
Do not overheat or muffins will be tough.
Spoon into greased muffin cups and bake until brown, about 15 minutes.
Serve warm.
Bake at 400 degrees 15 minutes
