Easy Cajun Trinity

This Cajun trinity recipe video shows you how to make three vegetables for a delicious Cajun flavored dish. Made with sweet onions, bell peppers and celery, the Cajun trinity vegetables is easy to cook and healthy. The Cajun trinity can also be used in dishes like gumbo, stews, or etouffee. They can be stored in the refrigerator in zipper bags.
Ingredients
  Sweet onion 1 Large
  Green bell pepper 1
  Red bell pepper 1
  Celery stalks 8
  Garlic 5
  Fresh parsley 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Directions

Wash bell peppers, celery and parsley thoroughly and pat with paper towels to remove excess water. Slice them up. Dice them up. Chop them up. Mince them up. Throw it all in a large mixing bowl and stir to mix evenly.

Four cups of the Cajun Trinity mixture is sufficient for a stew, gumbo or etouffee. To store for later use, place four cups mixture in freezer safe zipper bags and label with the date prepared. Place flat in the freezer.
