Easy Bread Pudding
|Stale bread cubes||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Cream||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Sugar||1⁄8 Cup (2 tbs)|
|Raspberry jam||2 Tablespoon|
|Vanilla essence||1 Teaspoon|
|Butter||2 Teaspoon (For greasing)|
|Raspberry jam||1 Tablespoon|
1.Preheat oven to 350 F.
2.Grease your baking dish with butter and set it aside.
3.Arrange bread cubes in the baking dish.
4.Combine egg, sugar, cream and vanilla essence and raspberry jam in a blender and give it a quick spin (for a couple of minutes).
5.Pour over the bread and bake it for 40 min.
6.Drop few small dollops of jam at several places over the bread.
7.Put a cashew in the middle of the small dollops.
8.Serve it with plain ice cream or eat it by itself.
If you are watching your weight, substitute cream with milk and try sugar substitutes instead of sugar.
