This 4th of July holiday I did sliders with 3 different topping.
1- Bleu Cheese and Bacon
2- Chipotle Aioli
3- Whiskey BBQ Sauce
Ground sirloin | 3 Pound (angus sirloin) | |
Bbq sauce | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) (of your choice) | |

Cheese slice | 3 (as needed) | |
For chipotle aioli | ||
Garlic cloves | 4 | |
Real mayonnaise | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Chipotle pepper | 3 (2 | |
Adobo sauce | 1 Tablespoon (or more to taste) | |
Lime juiced | 1/2 | |
For bleu cheese and bacon | ||
Mayo | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
Onion | 1/2 , diced | |
Bacon slices | 4 , chopped (3 | |
Crumbled bleu cheese | 4 Ounce | |
For sweet whiskey bbq sauce | ||
Onion | 1 Small , diced | |
Bacon fat | 1 Tablespoon | |
Whiskey | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
Bbq sauce | 1 Cup (16 tbs) (of your choice) |
GETTING READY
1. In a bowl, combine ground meat and BBQ sauce. Mix gently.
2. Scoop out about ¼ cup of the meat mixture and roll into balls and place on a baking tray. Pop in refrigerator until ready to grill.
3. Preheat grill.
MAKING
For Chipotle Aioli:
4. In food processor, blitz garlic and then add mayo, chipotle pepper, adobo sauce, and lime juice. Blend well and pop in refrigerator.
For Bleu Cheese and Bacon:
5. In a bowl, mix together mayo, onion, bacon, and bleu cheese. Refrigerate until ready to use.
For Sweet Whiskey BBQ Sauce:
6. In a pan, saute onion in bacon fat for about 3-4 minutes.
7. Pour whiskey, stir well and let reduce for 4-5 minutes.
8. Add BBQ sauce and simmer for 3-5 minutes or until reduced and thickened. Remove from heat and let cool.
FINALIZING
9. Using a pint glass flatten the patties and season with salt and pepper.
10. Place on grill, cover and cook for about 3 minutes per side.
11. Top with cheese and cook until cheese melts.
SERVING
12. Serve patties on bun with bacon, cheddar, and chipotle aioli or bleu cheese and bacon with avocado, or with straight with whiskey sauce on top.
