Grandma'S Fruit Cobbler

  Fruit 4 Cup (64 tbs)
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Cornstarch 2 Tablespoon
  Water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Biscuit mix 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Milk 2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
  Sugar 1 Tablespoon
  Melted butter/Margarine 2 Tablespoon
  Cinnamon sugar 2 Teaspoon

Combine fruit, sugar, cornstarch, and water in saucepan. Heat to boiling and cook, stirring constantly until mixture is slightly thickened. Set aside. Combine biscuit mix, milk, and sugar; stir to make soft dough. Roll out on floured surface and cut into strips. Place hot fruit mixture in baking pan. Place strips across the fruit mixture, overlapping slightly until entire surface is covered. Brush melted butter over strips; sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Bake 30 to 40 minutes, or until fruit is tender and crust is brown. Suggested fruits: Peaches, apricots, cherries, nectarines, and blueberries.
