Ingredients
  Flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Eggs 2 , beaten (lightly)
  Milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Melted butter 1 Teaspoon
Directions

Sift flour with salt. Beat remaining ingredients lightly; then combine with flour. Stir until well blended and smooth. Place custard cups on a baking sheet. Fill cups about half full of batter (a little more than half full if using 5-ounce cups). Place in cold oven. Immediately turn heat to 425 degrees F. Bake until well browned and well "popped," about 35 minutes. Popovers may also be baked in a preheated oven.
