Half-hour Veal Creole

|Sliced onion||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Salad oil||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Cubed cooked veal||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Canned tomatoes||28 Ounce|
|Diced green pepper||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sliced mushrooms||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Flour||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Water||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
Saute onions in hot oil until just tender.
Add all except last 2 ingredients.
Cover, and simmer 25 minutes.
Remove bay leaf.
Make smooth paste of flour and water, and thicken veal mixture.
Cook another 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
