Ingredients
  Sifted flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Eggs 2 , beaten
  Milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Shortening 2 Tablespoon, melted
Directions

"Sift flour and salt.
Combine eggs, milk and short- ening; add to flour mixture gradually, beating for 1 minute or until smooth.
Fill greased hot popover pans 3/4 full.
Bake at 450 degrees for 20 minutes.
Reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees and bake for 15 to 20 minutes longer."
