Southern Style Herbed Zucchini
|Water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Minced fresh parsley||1 Teaspoon|
|Minced fresh chives||1 Teaspoon|
|Minced fresh basil||1 Teaspoon|
|Minced fresh rosemary||1 Teaspoon|
|Minced fresh dill||1 Teaspoon (Or Dill Weed)|
|Freshly ground pepper||To Taste|
1 Cut zucchini lengthwise in half .
2 In a large skillet, put water.
3 Arrange the zucchini in skillet, cut sides up.
4 In a bowl, mix the herbs and pepper.
5 Sprinkle over zucchini
6 Bring the water to a boil.
7 Cover and lower the heat.
8 Simmer for 4 to 6 minutes or until zucchini is crisp-tender.
9 Transfer to a serving platter.
