Southern Style Beef Stew With Dumplings

Ingredients
  All-purpose flour 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Salt 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Boneless beef chuck 2 Pound, cut into 1 inch cubes
  Vegetable oil 3 Tablespoon
  Onion 1 Medium, sliced
  Sugar 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Worcestershire sauce 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Garlic 1⁄2 Clove (2.5 gm), minced
  Bay leaf 1 Small
  Ground allspice 1 1⁄2 Pinch
  Water 5 Cup (80 tbs)
  Potatoes 3 Large, quartered
  Carrots 4 Large, cut in half crosswise
  Onions 6 Small
  Celery stalks 3 , cut in 1 inch pieces
  Milk 3 Tablespoon
  Egg 1
  Chopped parsley 1 Tablespoon
  Biscuit mix 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

MAKING
1. Start by combining first 3 ingredients, in flour mixture dredge meat in hot oil and brown in a Dutch oven
2. Now stir in the next 7 ingredients, cover and simmer for 2 hours
4. Also add potatoes, carrots, onions, and celery, cover and simmer 15 minutes
5. Combine milk, egg, and parsley too, then add mixture to biscuit mix
6. On vegetables stew pour tablespoonfuls of dough
7. Cook for 20 more minutes

SERVING
8. Serve with mashed potatoes, rice
