Prawn Shrimp Creole
|Small onion||1 , peeled and chopped|
|Green pepper||1⁄2 , cored, seeded and chopped|
|Tomato juice||1⁄4 Pint (150ml)|
|Dried rosemary||1 Pinch|
|Worcestershire sauce||1 Teaspoon (5 ml)|
|Prepared german mustard||1 Teaspoon (5 ml)|
|Peeled prawns||6 Ounce (175g)|
|Freshly ground black pepper||To Taste|
|Bean sprouts||1⁄2 Pound (225 g, for garnish)|
1.In a pan, put onion, green pepper, tomato juice, rosemary, Worcestershire sauce and mustard .
2.Let the mixture boil.
3.Once done, lower the flame and put the lid on.
4.Let itsimmer for 15 minutes.
5.Put a sprinkling of salt and pepper as per taste.
6.Serve warm after garnishing of bean sprouts.
The dish can be frozen for later use. If frozen, thaw for 4 hours in refrigerator and reheat before serving.
