Waikiki Hawaiian Salad

Waikiki Hawaiian Salad is an easy, no-fuss summer fruit salad. It is a joyous blend of cut up maraschino cherries, pineapple, and mandarin oranges with tiny marshmallows, walnuts and sour cream.
Ingredients
  Maraschino cherries 15 Ounce (1 jar)
  Pineapple chunks 1 Can (10 oz)
  Mandarin oranges 1 Can (10 oz)
  Mini marshmallows 10 Ounce (optional)
  Chopped walnuts 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Sour cream/Unsweetened yogurt 7 Ounce
Directions

MAKING
1. Drain the fruits and using a knife them all in half.
2. Put them into a large bowl and mix together. Stir in marshmallows.
3. Mix in the sour cream and walnuts.

SERVING
4. Serve chilled in salad bowls or in coconut shells.

What can I say, except that it is an adaptation of the many, many Hawaiian salads available out there. This has always worked with me and my family. It is a perfect snack to have while watching the T.V.
