|Bacon fat/Other shortening||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Minced onions||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Minced green pepper||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Tomatoes||4 Medium, peeled and chopped|
|Fish stock/Consomm�||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Herb bouquet||1 (Consisting Of Parsley, Crumbled Dried Thyme, And Bay Leaf)|
|Uncooked shelled shrimp||2 Pound (Or Raw)|
1 In a pan, melt bacon fat and cook onion and green pepper in it.
2 Add in tomatoes, consomme, salt, cayenne, and herb bouquet.
3 Cover and simmer for 40 minutes, stirring occasionally.
4 Remove the herbs and discard.
5 Add in the shrimps.
6 Simmer gently for another 6 minutes.
7 Add salt and pepper if required.
8 Serve with rice.
