|Clams||24 (Small Sized)|
|Garlic||3 Clove (15 gm), minced|
|Butter||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), cut into 24 parts|
|Sauterne||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Open clams and remove; reserve juice and half of the shells.
Place shells on baking sheet.
On each, place a clam, small amount juice, salt, pepper, oregano, dab of garlic, butter, capful of wine and a square of bacon.
Broil until bacon is crisp.
