Ingredients
  Tart apples 1 1⁄2 Pinch, sliced (Peeled)
  Tart apples 1 1⁄2 Pound
  Flour 2 Tablespoon
  Lemon juice 1 Tablespoon
  Vanilla extract 1 Teaspoon
  Cinnamon 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  All purpose flour 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Unsifted all purpose flour 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Baking powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Butter/Regular margarine 2 Tablespoon
  Butter/Regular margarine 2 Tablespoon, softened
  Egg 1 , slightly beaten
  Egg 1
  Light cream/Whipped cream or ice cream 1 Tablespoon
Directions

GETTING READY
1. Preheat oven to 375F.

MAKING
2. Prepare the filling in a medium bowl, combine apple, 3/4 cup sugar, 2 tablespoons flour, the lemon juice, vanilla, cinnamon, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 cup water.
3. Turn into 8-by-8-by-2-inch baking dish and cover with 2 tablespoons butter.
4. Prepare the batter in a medium bowl, by combining all the batter ingredients; beat with wooden spoon until smooth. Drop in 9 portions over filling, spacing evenly. Bake 35 to 40 minutes, or until apple is tender and crust is golden.

SERVING
5. Serve warm with clotted cream
