Creole Chicken

Ingredients
  Broiler fryer chicken 1 , cut
  Green pepper 1 , chopped
  Green onions 6 , chopped
  Tomatoes 16 Ounce, cut (1 Can)
  Tomato paste 6 Ounce (1 Can)
  Cooked ham 1⁄4 Pound, cubed
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Hot pepper sauce To Taste
  Sausage 1⁄2 Pound, smoked
  Cooked rice 3 Cup (48 tbs)
Directions

In slow-cooking pot, combine chicken, pepper, onions, tomatoes, tomato paste, ham, salt and pepper sauce.
Cover and cook on low for 4 to 5 hours.
Turn control to high.
Add sausage and cooked rice.
Cover and cook on high for 15 to 20 minutes.
Makes 6 to 7 servings.
