Chicken And Tomato Gumbo

Ingredients
  Chicken parts 1 Pound
  Onion 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs), sliced
  Flour 1 Tablespoon
  Canned tomatoes 16 Ounce, stewed, chopped (1 Can)
  Frozen sliced okra 10 Ounce, thawed (1 Package)
  Canned whole kernel corn 8 Ounce (1 Can)
  Chicken broth 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Salt 2 Teaspoon
  Hot pepper sauce 2 Dash
  Garlic powder 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

MAKING
1. In a 3-quart casserole dish, place chicken.
2. Cover the dish.
3. Heat over High for 10 to 12 minutes until tender.
4. Remove chicken to cool.
5. After cooling, separate chicken meat from the bones.
6. Discard bones.

FINALISING
7. In a casserole, add onion and cook on High for 4 minutes.
8. Add flour, tomatoes, okra, corn, broth, salt, hot pepper sauce, garlic and pepper; stir to mix.
9. Cover the dish.
10. Cook on High for 10 to 12 minutes; stir once.
11. Then, cook on Medium for 15 minutes; stir twice.
12. Add the boneless chicken meat.
13. Pour soup.
14. Cover the casserole.
15. Cook on Medium for 4 to 6 minutes.

SERVING
16. Let it stand covered for 5 minutes before serving.
