Simple Cherry Cobbler

Ingredients
  Canned prepared cherry pie filling 21 Ounce (1 Can)
  Flour 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Sugar 2 Tablespoon
  Baking powder 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Softened butter 3 Tablespoon
  Milk 2 Tablespoon
  Egg 1 , slightly beaten
Directions

GETTING READY
1. Prepare an 8-1/4-inch, shallow, round baking dish
2. Tip the pie filling into the dish

MAKING
3. In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
4. Cut the butter into the mixture until the flour starts to look like large breadcrumbs
5. Mix milk into the egg
6. Gradually add the liquid mixture to the dry mixture
7. Stir well continuously to moisten and get the flour to hold together.

FINALIZING
8. Spoon the topping over fruit in five separate dishes
9. Cook this on Medium for 6 minutes. Turn the dish several times during the cooking process
10. Brown for 4-5 minutes

SERVING
11. Serve with whipped cream and jam
