Shrimp Gumbo

Ingredients
  Butter/Margarine 4 Tablespoon
  Flour 1 Tablespoon
  Raw shrimp 1 Pound (Shelled And Deveined)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1 Dash
  Frozen okra 10 Ounce (Slightly Thawed)
  Onion 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped
  Green pepper 2 Tablespoon, chopped
  Tomato sauce 8 Ounce
  Tomatoes 8 Ounce
  Cooked white rice 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  Parsley 1 Tablespoon, chopped
  Herbs and spices 1 Tablespoon (For Boiling)
  Crab 1⁄2 Pound
  Shrimp 1⁄2 Pound
Directions

MAKING
1. In large saucepan or Dutch oven, melt 2 tablespoons butter, remove from heat and blend in flour until smooth.
2. Return to heat, add shrimp and cook, stirring often, 3 to 4 minutes.
3. Add 2 cups water, the crab or shrimp boil, salt and pepper, bring to boiling, reduce heat and simmer, covered, 15 minutes.
4. Cut okra in 1-inch pieces.
5. In a medium saucepan heat remaining butter and saute okra, onion/and green pepper until tender—about 10 minutes.
6. Stir in tomato sauce and tomatoes.
7. Add tomato mixture to shrimp and simmer 30 minutes longer.
8. Mound 1/2 cup cooked rice in each large soup plate.

SERVING
9. Ladle gumbo over rice, sprinkle with parsley and serve.
