Maine Corn Chowder
|Onions||2 Medium, sliced|
|Diced peeled potatoes||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Water||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Canned cream style corn||17 Ounce (1 Can Of 1 Pound And 1 Ounce)|
|Milk||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
Cook bacon in Dutch oven until crisp.
Drain onpaper towels.
Saute" onion in bacon drippings until soft.
Add potatoes, water, salt, and pepper.
Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat; cover and simmer about 15 minutes until potatoes are tender.
Add corn and milk.
When serving, garnish with crumbled bacon.
