Maine Corn Chowder

Ingredients
  Bacon slices 5
  Onions 2 Medium, sliced
  Diced peeled potatoes 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  Water 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Canned cream style corn 17 Ounce (1 Can Of 1 Pound And 1 Ounce)
  Milk 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Directions

Cook bacon in Dutch oven until crisp.
Drain onpaper towels.
Set aside.
Saute" onion in bacon drippings until soft.
Add potatoes, water, salt, and pepper.
Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat; cover and simmer about 15 minutes until potatoes are tender.
Add corn and milk.
Heat thoroughly.
When serving, garnish with crumbled bacon.
