Ingredients
  Wholemeal 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Sugar 2 Tablespoon
  Soda bicarbonate 1 Teaspoon
  Sour milk 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Bran 1 Cup (16 tbs) (breakfast bran)
  Flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Salt 1 Pinch
  Sultanas 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Black treacle 1 Tablespoon
Directions

Mix dry ingredients well* Add the sultanas.
Beat sour milk and treacle together and mix into dry ingredients.
Half-fill greased tins.
Cover and steam for 21/2-hrs.
