Man Loving Beef Stew
|Chuck||2 Pound, cut for stew|
|Vegetable fat||3 Tablespoon|
|Onion||1 Medium, minced|
|White of leek/Chives||1|
|Flour||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Boiling water||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Tomatoes||1 Can (10 oz), minced|
|Carrots||4 (1/2 Inch Chunks)|
|Red potatoes||4 Medium (Egg Sized Chunks)|
|White boiling onions||12 Small|
|Tabasco sauce||2 Dash|
Saute meat in fat until light brown.
Sprinkle leek (chives) and onion over meat.
Mix well, saute 5 minutes more.
Sprinkle flour over meat.
Add bay leaf, thyme, boiling water, bouillon cubes and tomatoes.
Add 1 t.salt and 1/8 t.pepper.
Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer slowly for 2 hours.
Add carrots, onions and potatoes.
Simmer until vegetables are done.
Add Tabasco sauce and season to taste with salt and pepper.
Serves 4 hungry people.
