Man Loving Beef Stew

Ingredients
  Chuck 2 Pound, cut for stew
  Vegetable fat 3 Tablespoon
  Onion 1 Medium, minced
  White of leek/Chives 1
  Flour 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Bay leaf 1
  Thyme 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Boiling water 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  Bouillon cubes 3
  Tomatoes 1 Can (10 oz), minced
  Carrots 4 (1/2 Inch Chunks)
  Red potatoes 4 Medium (Egg Sized Chunks)
  White boiling onions 12 Small
  Tabasco sauce 2 Dash
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

Saute meat in fat until light brown.
Sprinkle leek (chives) and onion over meat.
Mix well, saute 5 minutes more.
Sprinkle flour over meat.
Mix well.
Add bay leaf, thyme, boiling water, bouillon cubes and tomatoes.
Stirring well.
Add 1 t.salt and 1/8 t.pepper.
Bring to a boil.
Skim.
Reduce heat and simmer slowly for 2 hours.
Add carrots, onions and potatoes.
Simmer until vegetables are done.
Skim fat.
Add Tabasco sauce and season to taste with salt and pepper.
Serves 4 hungry people.
