Boston Brown Bread
|Wheat flour/Graham flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Corn meal||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Rye meal/Ground rolled oats||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Royal baking powder||5 Teaspoon|
|Molasses||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Milk||1 1⁄3 Cup (21.33 tbs)|
1.Preheat oven to 350°F to 400°F.
2. Combine all the dry ingredients and mix well. Add molasses-milk mixture to the dry mixture and beat well.
3. Transfer to greased moulds, making them 2/3d full. Cover and steam for about 3.5 hours.
4. Remove the cover and allow to bake till bread is dry.
5. Slice and serve with cream.
