Creole Liver

Ingredients
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Calf liver/Beef liver 1 1⁄2 Pound, cut into 1 1/2-inch strips
  Chopped onion/2 tablespoons instant minced onion 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (1 Medium Onion)
  Chopped green pepper 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Leaf marjoram/Rosemary 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Ground thyme/Poultry seasoning 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Canned tomato paste 6 Ounce (1 Can Or 3/4 Cup)
  Condensed beef consomme 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Water 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

In large fry pan, brown liver in butter on medium heat.
Add remaining ingredients.
Simmer, covered, 20 minutes for calf liver or 30 minutes for beef liver, adding small amounts of water if liquid becomes too thick.
Serve hot.
