No Measure Beef Stew
|Beef stew meat||1 Pound, cut into 1/2-inch cubes|
|Sweet potatoes||2 Medium, peeled and cut into 1-inch pieces|
|Parsnips||2 Medium, peeled and cut into 1/2-inch pieces|
|Onion||1 Medium, sliced and separated into rings|
|Canned tomato herb sauce||15 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Green pepper||1 Large, cut into thin strips|
In a 3-quart casserole combine beef, sweet potatoes, parsnips, and onion.
Stir in tomato-herb sauce.
Use tomato-herb sauce can to measure 1/2 can water.
Stir into vegetable mixture.
Micro-cook, covered, on 100% power (HIGH) about 7 minutes or till bubbly; stir.
Reduce power to 50% (MEDIUM).
Micro-cook, covered, 45 to 50 minutes more or till meat is tender, stirring twice.
Stir in green pepper.
Micro-cook, covered, on 50% power (MEDIUM) about 5 minutes more or till green pepper is crisp-tender.
Skim off fat.
Stir before serving.
