Ingredients
  Cut up carrot 2 Cup (32 tbs) (Use 4 Medium Sized To Make 1 1/2 Inch Pieces)
  Cut up celery 2 Cup (32 tbs) (Use 4 Stalks To Make 1 1/2 Inch Pieces)
  Cubed cooked lean beef 1⁄2 Pound (1 1/2 Cups)
  Water 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Tomato juice 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Quartered turnips 1 Cup (16 tbs) (2 Small Sized)
  Onion 1 Medium, quartered
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Garlic salt/1/4 teaspoon instant minced garlic 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Bay leaf 1
  Bouillon cube/1 teaspoon instant bouillon 1
Directions

In large saucepan, combine all ingredients.
Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat; simmer, covered, for 45 to 60 minutes until vegetables are tender and flavors well blended.
Remove bay leaf.
Serve hot.
