Frozen Bing Cherries

|Sugar||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Water||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
|Ascorbic acid||4 Teaspoon|
|Fresh bing cherries||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Combine the sugar and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
Simmer for 5 minutes, then cool and add the ascorbic acid.
Wash and drain the cherries.
Place in freezer bags or cartons.
Cover with syrup and seal the bags.
