Maine Baked Finnan Haddie

Ingredients
  Chopped onion 1 Teaspoon
  Chopped green pepper 1 Tablespoon
  Butter 3 Tablespoon
  Flour 3 Tablespoon
  Paprika 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Milk 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Cooked finnan haddie 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Buttered breadcrumbs 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

Cook onion and green pepper in butter until tender.
Mix in flour and paprika and add milk gradually.
Heat to boiling and pour over fish in greased baking dish.-Cover with crumbs and bake in moderate oven (350°F.) 20 minutes or until crumbs are browned.
Serves 4.
