|Mushrooms||4 Ounce, chopped|
|Onion||1 Small, chopped|
|Roasting chicken joints||1 1⁄2 Pound|
|Plain flour||1 Ounce|
|Evaporated milk||5 Fluid Ounce (1 Small Can)|
|Patna rice||4 Ounce|
|Bacon (streaky) rashers||8 , rolled and grilled (For Garnish)|
|Pineapple chunks||3⁄4 Can (7.5 oz), drained (1 Small Can)|
Melt butter and lightly fry the mushrooms, onion and chicken.
Add the flour and cook for a few minutes.
Dilute evaporated milk to 3/4 pint with cold water and add gradually to chicken.
Season, cover and simmer until chicken is tender, 30-40 minutes.
Cook rice and arrange on serving dish, place joints on top, pour sauce over.
Serve garnished with bacon rolls and pineapple chunks.
