Monterey Burgers

  Onion 1 Medium
  Ground round 1 Pound
  Barbecue sauce 2 Tablespoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Ground black pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Shredded monterey jack cheese 1⁄4 Pound
  Hamburger buns 4

Finely chop onion with Food Chopper.
Combine onion, ground round, barbecue sauce, salt and pepper in Classic 2-Qt Batter Bowl; mix well.
Divide mixture into 4 equal portions.
Shape each portion into a patty and press a fourth of the cheese into center of each.
Pull sides of patty up and over cheese, enclosing cheese completely.
Gently re-form each portion into a flat patty, making sure cheese does not poke out.
In 10-inch Generation II Frying Pan, cook patties over medium-high heat, turning once, until done: 3 minutes per side for medium-rare, 4 minutes per side for medium and 5 minutes per side for well done.
Serve on hamburger buns.
