Ingredients
  Caster sugar 375 Gram (12 ounce)
  Egg whites 2
  Cream of tartar 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Cold water 5 Tablespoon
  Vanilla essence 1 Teaspoon
Directions

Put the sugar, egg whites, cream of tartar and water into a bowl and set over a pan of simmering water.
Beat until stiff peaks form, which will take anything from 4 to 8 minutes.
Remove from the heat, add the vanilla and beat until the frosting is a good spreading consistency.
