Hawaiian Pork Chops and Macaroni
|Shell macaroni||8 Ounce, uncooked (2 1/2 Cups)|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), cut|
|Pork chops||6 , cut 1/2 inch thick|
|Mushrooms||1⁄2 Pound, sliced|
Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain.
Spread evenly in buttered 13x9x2-inch baking pan.
Rub dutch oven or large skillet with the cut garlic clove.
Brown chops well on both sides over medium heat.
Season to taste.
Remove chops; set aside.
Add mushrooms to dutch oven or skillet and saute in fat from chops, adding a little butter if necessary, for 5 minutes.
Sprinkle over macaroni in baking pan.
Arrange chops on top and put a slice of pineapple on each.
Top with curry sauce and bake, covered, at 325° 1 hour 15 minutes, or until chops are tender.
