Apple And Oats Pie
|Apples||5 Medium, peeled, cored, sliced to make 4 cups|
|Lemon juice||2 Tablespoon|
|Flour||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Oats||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Old Fashioned / Quick)|
|Packed brown sugar||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Chopped walnuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
In a greased 8-inch round cake dish, arrange apple slices.
Sprinkle with sugar and lemon juice.
In medium bowl, combine flour, oats, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg; cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Add nuts; mix.
Crumble mixture over apple slices.
