Salisbury Steak With Mushrooms
|Lean new york steak||12 Ounce, chopped|
|Unsalted defatted beef broth||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Shallot||1 , finely chopped|
|Fresh sliced mushrooms||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Form four patties from the chopped meat; broil to desired doneness.
Meanwhile, heat the beef broth in a heavy skillet and add the shallot and mushrooms.
Simmer uncovered to reduce the sauce.
Glaze each steak patty with a portion of the sauce.
Serve very hot.
