Sweet And Creamy Cole Slaw
|Poppy seeds||1 Tablespoon|
|Sesame seeds||1 Tablespoon|
|Seasoning mix||1 Teaspoon|
|Dry mustard||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Onion powder||3⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Garlic powder||3⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Sweet paprika||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Pepper white||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Dried sweet basil||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Dill weed||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Black pepper||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Creamy dressing||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Canned evaporated skim milk||5 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Nonfat cottage cheese||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Mayonnaise||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Apple syrup||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Chopped green cabbage||6 Cup (96 tbs) (Medium Sized)|
|Red apple||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs), unpeeled and grated|
|Currants||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Finely diced onion||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Place a small, heavy nonstick skillet over high heat and add the poppy seeds and sesame seeds.
Toss and cook until the seeds start to pop, then remove them and set aside.
Combine the seasoning mix ingredients in a small bowl, and puree the dressing ingredients in a blender until smooth and creamy.
Place the remaining ingredients in a large bowl, add the seasoning mix, and toss to mix.
Add the dressing and stir gently until it is evenly distributed
