Honey and Mascarpone Breakfast Bread with Berries
|German fruit bread slices||4|
|Lemon rind||1 Tablespoon, finely grated|
|Blueberries||3 Ounce (75 Gram)|
|Nutmeg||1⁄2 Teaspoon, grated|
|Fruit juice||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
1. Toast the bread until golden brown and firm. Beat the mascarpone with 2 teaspoons of the honey and the finely grated lemon rind.
2. Put a little of the remaining honey on the warm toast, then place a spoonful of the lemon mascarpone on top and spread it over the toast.
3. Scatter a few berries over and around the toast and drizzle the remaining honey over it. Grate the nutmeg over the warm toast. Serve with a knife and fork and a large glass of fruit juice.
