New England Ham And Vegetable Chowder

Ingredients
  Margarine/Butter 3 Tablespoon
  Chopped onion 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Flour 3 Tablespoon
  Milk 4 Cup (64 tbs)
  Cubed cooked ham 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Frozen peas potatoes and carrots 16 Ounce (1 Package)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄8 Teaspoon
Directions

Melt margarine in 4-quart saucepan or Dutch oven over medium heat.
Add onion; cook and stir until tender.
Reduce heat to low.
Stir in flour; cook and stir until mixture is smooth and bubbly.
Gradually stir in milk.
Add remaining ingredients.
Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring frequently.
Reduce heat to low; simmer 10 to 15 minutes or until slightly thickened and vegetables are tender, stirring occasionally.
