Southern Pecan Stuffed Meat Loaf
|Ground beef||2 Pound|
|Minced onion||2 Tablespoon|
|Egg||1 , slightly beaten|
|Evaporated milk||1 Tablespoon|
|Soft bread crumbs||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Chopped pecans||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Minced green pepper||2 Tablespoon|
|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|French dressing||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (Adjust Quantity As Needed)|
Combine the ground beef, 1 1/2 teaspoons salt, pepper, onion, egg and evaporated milk and mix thoroughly.
Place on aluminum foil and press into rectangular shape 1/2 inch thick.
Combine the bread crumbs, pecans, remaining salt, green pepper, paprika and milk and spread over beef mixture.
Roll as for jelly roll and place, seam side down, in a loaf pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until done.
Brush with French dressing and serve.
